Instant Pot Split Pea Soup

Don't forget to follow me on Instagram!

Hi everyone!  Happy Monday!  If you're looking for a quick and healthy weeknight dinner, you've come to the right place!

Have y'all jumped on the Instant Pot bandwagon yet?  I'm no pro with the Instant Pot, but this dahl and today's recipe are super simple for us simple folks 👏.

Do you like split pea soup?  I feel like split pea soup is a very polarizing dish; you either love it or you hate it.  I happen to be someone who loves it 😍.  (You know you're a foodie when you put a smiley face with heart eyes next to split pea soup.)

Among people who love split pea soup, there are disagreements on how it should be made.  Some swear by cooking on the stove for a loooong time like grandma would do.  Their might even be some people who just enjoy popping open a can of split pea soup for a speedy supper.  And then there are some people like me who like to use modern technology to make life (and soup) easier.

Even if you are a naysayer, you really should try this split pea soup.  Scared of veggies?  Don't worry; this soup recipe uses ham for umami.  Think that soup is too time-consuming to make?  With the Instant pot, you can just set it and forget it (I mean, don't totally forget it because then you won't get to savor some of the tastiest split pea soup you've ever had 😉.)

At any rate, make this tasty, healthy, and fast split pea soup; I know you won't regret it.
